“Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
- Matthew 6:33
Dear Foundry Family,
As I reflect on 2024, my heart is filled with gratitude. God is good, and He is working through you in incredible ways! Last year, we were inspired by the call from Acts to embrace our role as witnesses to the Good News of Jesus Christ. This annual report is an opportunity to bear witness to and celebrate all that God has done among us.
As we step into this new chapter at Foundry, I am praying that we will fix our eyes on Jesus and allow His words in Matthew 6:33 to guide us: “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Together, we are seeking God and sowing seeds today, trusting that we will see His kingdom come in our church, our community, and throughout the world. And we have already experienced God’s provision and faithfulness in extraordinary ways.
Because of your generosity and faithfulness, we have seen lives transformed, needs met, and families strengthened. Every contribution of time, talent, and treasure has helped advance the kingdom in ways that go far beyond what can be captured in this report. Thank you for standing with us and allowing God to work through you as we continue to seek Him and lead others to know, follow, and share Jesus.
Looking ahead to 2025, we are filled with hope and expectation. God has proven His faithfulness, and we are confident that He has even greater things in store. Let us continue to seek His kingdom and follow wherever He leads us.
Thank you for your partnership, your prayers, and your generosity. May God bless you richly as we anticipate all He will accomplish in the year ahead.
Lead Pastor,
Ray Hughes

WORSHIP
Average Weekly Attendance
As we reflect on 2024, everything we did at Foundry was centered on helping people know, follow, and share Jesus. Worship remained at the heart of it all! Throughout the year, as we gathered to worship, pray, and study together each week, we strengthened our relationships with God and one another. These shared moments deepened our faith and empowered us to live out our mission in meaningful ways.

“Over the last six months, it’s been awesome getting to watch our kids, middle schoolers, teenagers, and adults respond to the Father's love in worship. I’m especially grateful to our music, audio, and visual team for their tremendous efforts and sacrificial service in helping to create a space for our congregation to encounter the presence of Jesus, week after week. With lifted hands, hearts, and voices, worship will remain our posture as we step into all that God has prepared for His church in the year to come.”

Discipleship
“I believe every church that is serious about developing and equipping true disciples should consider making this workshop (Renovo) available to its congregants. The five categories of spiritual growth and the chart that accompanied them brought great clarity to the often misunderstood concept of discipleship. No doubt, the workshop and survey results will be essential tools for our leadership to take us to the next level in deepening our relationship with God.”
2024 Recap
We have much to celebrate in the area of Adult Discipleship for 2024. In April, we began a journey of intentional growth by launching several new initiatives and tools designed to deepen our relationship with Christ and with one another. These efforts were met with enthusiasm and engagement across the congregation, reflecting our collective hunger for spiritual growth.
Discipleship Workshop
One of the year’s highlights was the Discipleship Workshop, which saw an incredible turnout of 147 attendees. This workshop provided practical tools for understanding spiritual growth, fostered meaningful discussions, and inspired participants to take actionable steps in their faith journeys.
Walk to Emmaus
Additionally, the Walk to Emmaus program continued to be a transformative experience for many in our congregation, offering participants a deeper understanding of God’s grace and equipping them to serve others more effectively. A total of 15 Foundry members participated in the Walk to Emmaus in 2024.
“I am grateful for the time I spent on the Walk to Emmaus. I think the most impactful part of participating in the Walk has been getting to know others on their faith journeys that weekend and through the reunion group, and having this shared experience and connection that offers support, prayer, and friendship. The time spent away from distractions and responsibilities allowed for spiritual growth and learning that I found valuable and meaningful, and has encouraged me in my own walk with the Lord. ”

Other Mission Highlights
Compassion International
We celebrate the 147 Foundry families who sponsor children through Compassion International. You are changing a child’s life forever, and we want to say a big thank you!
By sponsoring a child, you offer them what they need to overcome poverty. Check out the video link to Learn more about how you can change a child’s life forever.
Haiti
The Valcins were able to purchase a vehicle because of Foundry’s generosity! Continue to pray for Gersan and his health in the new year. He and Betty will be spending time between Austin for treatment and ministry responsibilities in Haiti. You may not know this, but ollowing his graduation from Dallas Theological Seminary, they answered the call to their homeland and have faithfully and effectively served there for 27 years. They have given so much and endured so much. Also, please Pray for a turn around for safety and stability in Haiti.

Judy Dierker Holiday Market
It was an outstanding year. We had 114 vendors, a record, and 37 of them were new this year. Between the vendors, the Stitchers, the bake shop, the silent auction, and donations our net proceeds for Missions was $40,272.
Between Jones and Fry, we had 65 people providing baked goods and
63 Total volunteers.
So, Foundry Family, here’s a great big heartfelt, Thank You, to all who gave of their time, goods, and efforts. Thousands of people were on our campus enjoying themselves. There was a lot of joy and laughter here, which is a positive reflection of the Savior we serve.

Season of Hope
This was an outstanding year and an amazing display of love. We had great leadership from Debbie Wolf and Sherry Baker, incredible volunteers, generous donors, and supportive school staff members from our three adopted schools: Andre Elementary, Dean Middle, and Falcone Elementary. In addition, gifts were given to House of Mercy orphanage in Mexico, and our Costa Rica pastoral families.
Between the wish list gifts, the food boxes and gift cards Foundry made an incredible difference for kids in need and families that live live with very close margins. The love of Christ shines brightly here.

Cy-Fair Helping Hands
Foundry is blessed to partner with Jean Dryer and the Cy-Fair Helping Hands family. Every day presents something very special here. They provide a community food pantry, and a Day Center for the homeless with meals, laundry, and showers. They do our street outreach to the homeless. They seek transitional housing to stem the tide of new homeless families. In a typical year, they give away a half a million pounds of food, and help over 30,000 people. Foundry volunteers are key team members to their weekly efforts and their “Come As You Are” service on Sunday afternoons. One very special day celebrated this year was a baptism Sunday. There was a beautiful witness of four lives transformed by the power of God’s love evident in this place.
Over 500,000 lbs of food given!
We are so appreciative of the kids ministry at Foundry. Through the kids ministry, our children are growing in their knowledge and love of God. The kids ministry is helping to root them in the word of God, through scripture memorization and relevant lessons. We also really appreciate the time devoted to practicing listening to God, helping our children to discern God's voice.

“Every week our High-Schoolers gather together for an encounter with Jesus. It's become a dwelling a place for them as we seek to know, follow, and share the love of Jesus. In a week that is so busy and full of the world narrating their stories, I've seen how sitting at the feet of Jesus in worship has been a place that has redefined the story of many students lives. I am very certain that these gatherings aren't accomplished by hype or effort but simply the beauty of Jesus. Come and see when you have a chance! It's a beautiful thing to encounter the love of Jesus.”
"During my time at FSM I have felt a true sense of community through the many opportunities I’ve had teaching others about the Lord. The time I have spent here has given me a group of girls that I get excited to see and grow with each week. The lessons and growth i’ve gained through FSM is something I will take and cherish with me forever."
- Macie Aranda (HS Senior)
"When I think of FSM I don’t think of just another place I go to on a Wednesday or Sunday, I think of it as a place where I see my family. FSM has taught me that when a group is so heavily held together and led by God that they really can become a family under God. I see Jesus’s love radiating every time I’m with FSM, and FSM is living proof that where two or more are together he is there. Whether I’m having a bad week or a good one, I’m always reminded when I walk into FSM that I’m not alone, that Jesus is with me, that my family is with me."
